Superfly is focused on quality. We design our solar systems for Solomon Island's hot temperatures and remote, rural conditions. We only use lithium batteries; and we stick to quality components from manufacturers like Deye and Victron Energy. In our designs we ensure that we 'oversize' the amount of solar power to keep batteries fully charged and to maximise reliability. Finally, we train our customers to understand how to use their system effectively, how to monitor battery levels, as well as giving them simple tips in how to maintain their systems for long life.

Over 75% of Solomon Islands people live in off-grid areas. The lack of access to the electricity grid means schools and clinics without power; communities that are dark and feel unsafe to move around in at night. Fishing communities and farmers receive low prices for their harvests, as they lack the cold chain to keep things fresh. These communities may often suffer food and water security. Our rural electrification projects unlock vast development prospects for rural Solomon Islanders. Clinics go from delivering babies by mobile phone torchlight to having light and telehealth capability. Schools are able to cross the digital divide, with access to internet and powered devices connecting them with all the opportunities of the modern age.
